Baldwin makes a black lube filter special for the Harley. It is NOT chrome but solid black.

Replaces Harley P/N 63805-80A.

Highest quality lube filter is made in the USA and meets OEM specifications. Baldwin specially painted this filter black instead of their normal red to please the discriminating Harley owner. Now if Baldwin would just make a chrome filter we'd sell a ton of them. Anyhow this filter is black and a heck of a lot less expensive than going to the dealer.

2" PLANS, SCREENS, & PARTS LIST FOR RESIN FILTER TUBE - included with the plans are four special stainless 2 3/8 " screens.
Plans diagram, four 2 3/8" stainless screens, complete assembly instructions, and full parts list to build a 2 " resin tube. We will email all the text and also mail out the screens and plans via USPS Priority Mail. The proper filter screens are hard to source so we feel it's important to include them with your order. We provide and extra set of screens so you can build a second tube easily. As far as the other parts they are relatively easy to source at a local plumming supply house. We like using clear PVC but you can also can use regular PVC as well. Remember a single 2" tube requires two 2 3/8" screens.

STAINLESS STEEL SCREENS ONLY
We have a two sizez of stainless steel screens. Most people driving a VW or Mercedes use the 2" tubes as they produce only a batch or two a month. If however you are driving something a bit more thirsty perhaps building a 4" tube will work.
